It has been a busy year! We are starting to feel it and the recent fall-like weather has us thinking of fall eats. We recently planted kale, spinach and lettuce…all of which love cool weather. And, we have a great looking bed of arugula and greens to sell this week. August was a great month for beets; not a great month for carrots. The gold beets are a market hit and definitely attract people to the stand. This season we updated our signage and went with the rustic burlap look after a few other farmers showed us how attractive it is. Here are a few pics from the past few weeks.
