Look around… could you fit a traditional tractor in this backyard? As a small scale farm, we utilize different tools than large scale agriculture. We keep things small intentionally, and by doing so we are able to produce a lot of food in a small space. Some of the tools we use include a two-wheel tractor (also called a “walk behind” tractor), a broadfork that goes into the soil to loosen it without breaking it up, and the “magic cultivator” for weeding established rows of vegetables.


Note: Please watch your step as you proceed to the next stop, as the steps can be wobbly! If you’d rather skip the stairs, walk along the ridge to the left of the big greenhouse.
