well, it’s not much, but i’m pleased with our efforts (plus it’s more than we produced last year)….i don’t think i want to see another apple until the new year!
in total we processed and canned the following:
20 qts apple sauce
18 pints apple butter
11 pints raspberry jam
3 pints grape jam
they should make good holiday gifts….and apple butter tastes awesome on toast and popovers (which are super easy to make i found out yesterday)…..
